Share Text Between Devices With No Login or App | PasteDrop

Most share-between-devices tools want you to sign in, install an app, or stay inside a single ecosystem. PasteDrop is built for the opposite case: a quick, login-free, browser-based room that connects any two devices, transfers the text or file, and then disappears.

Why login-free sharing matters

You should not need a new account just to move a 6-digit OTP from your phone to your laptop. Logins add friction, leave a trail, and lock you to one ecosystem. PasteDrop removes that overhead entirely.

How a PasteDrop room works

One device creates a room and gets a short code plus a QR. The second device joins by scanning the QR or typing the code. Both devices are now connected in real time. Anything pasted, typed, or dropped on either side appears on the other instantly.

What you can share

Plain text of any length, URLs, formatted snippets, and files up to 10 MB (PNG, JPG, HEIC, PDF, ZIP). Multiple items can live in the same room.

Privacy by design

Room codes are random and unguessable. No account, no email, no profile, no analytics tied to you personally. After 5 minutes of inactivity the room is destroyed and uploaded files are wiped from storage.

When this is the right tool

Best for short-lived transfers between devices you control, especially across ecosystems (iPhone-Windows, Android-Mac, work laptop-personal phone). For long-term file storage, use a cloud drive instead.
